Measuring Guidelines
Stand straight and relaxed, heels together, arms down at sides
WAIST: It is critical that you measure the natural waist and not the drop waist, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The natural waist is the narrowest part of the waist, between the ribs and the hips
HIPS: Measure around the fullest part of the hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of the bust/chest, keeping tape parallel to the floor
SIZE CHART TIP: Size charts are technical
specs of a garment. It is the literal measurement range for that
product (NOT for how it would fit on a body). Size charts
need to be referenced in the correct manner to ensure proper fit
Example:
A participant's chest measurement is 32. Alleson's size SMALL
measures 30 - 32. If you order a SMALL, it will fit extremely
snug. Depending on this person's frame, a MEDIUM may be the best
choice
